Synthetic Sun

Music for sad people who still like to dance. Synthetic Sun is a punk rock/indie/post-hardcore trio from St. Louis, MO making raw, emotionally honest music for the outcasts and weirdos. The band has carved out a sound that’s both catchy and chaotic: a swirl of chunky bass lines, amped-up guitars, and confessional vocals. Influenced by Title Fight, Joyce Manor, Arctic Monkeys, and real-life anxiety, Synthetic Sun delivers catharsis wrapped in distortion. Their live shows are sweaty, loud, and a little emotional, like a house party that turns into a therapy session. Their next release, "Deluxe Edition", drops soon, led by the single “Subtext” — a gritty alt-punk anthem out August 1st, 2025.
