Izulu

Behind the name Izulu are Danish producers and DJs Christian and Michael. With roots in Denmark but hearts beating for the warm rhythms of Africa, the duo creates a unique universe within Afro House and Afrobeat. The name Izulu means heaven in Zulu – a fitting image for their music: boundless, open, and full of energy. Each production bridges pulsating drums, deep grooves, and atmospheric melodies, inviting the listener to let go and move. Christian and Michael have each been making music for years, but in the meeting of their experiences, Izulu was born. Together, they’ve created a project that celebrates unity on the dancefloor and connects continents through sound. With Izulu, the two artists aim to leave a Danish mark on the global afro-electronic scene – offering a heavenly journey through rhythm and culture.
