2026 marks a new era for the audiovisual artist: being the co-founder of Fractal Fantasy, which is currently on hiatus, she has built an an extensive catalogue of constantly evolving worlds spanning music, visuals, and interactive experiences, but her focus now shifts to her solo project and newly launched label 'Bellyfat'. Along the way, Zora carved out her own lane with releases like her debut EP '100 Ladies' and the collaborative EP 'Vicious Circles' on Planet Mu, while also linking with artists including La Zowi, Dj Polo, Jlin, Scratcha DVA, and Heavee. Following her 2020 debut album, 'Ten Billion Angels', which stretched across 11 tracks of ghostly voices and fractured rhythms, and the club-centric EP 'Angel Crisis' released early in the year, Zora is about to return with '50 Bullets To The Heart', an uncompromising album that moves between tenderness and force, shaped by pain, endurance, and transformation. Oscillating between fragility and ferocity, it's a testament to survival and defiance in the face of pain. Besides an extensive dj-tour through Asia and Europe earlier this year, she's spent most of 2025 and 26 in the studio writing songs, training her vocals and learning the piano in preparation for her first solo live performance, which will debut at Mutek Montreal in august. It's a bold statement of intent: Zora Jones isn’t just passing through - she’s building worlds, and she’s here to stay.
