Biography & Metadata

The Omnific is a breathtaking progressive instrumental trio from Melbourne, Australia, featuring two other-worldly intertwining bassists, Matt Fack and Toby Peterson-Stewart, backed by drummer Jerome Lematua; creating an extraordinary mosaic that dances between progressive rock, djent, funk, and synth-driven soundscapes.   Their 2021 debut record Escapades (Wild Thing Records) achieved significant acclaim, landing #3 on the Australian AIR Independent Album Charts. In 2024, The Omnific returned with their sophomore opus, The Law Of Augmenting Returns (Wild Thing Records), an audacious and magnificent triumph, helping to achieve over 17 million Spotify streams & 5 million YouTube cumulatively views to date.   The Omnific’s live show, full of swagger, showmanship, and stellar technical performances, has left a lasting impression on audiences worldwide. The Music (AU) put it simply, “The Omnific never cease to entice, excite and amaze”. The Omnific have toured with Opeth, Polyphia, The HU, TesseracT, Bernth, Charles Berthoud, Leprous, Intervals, Ne Obliviscaris, Cynic, Between The Buried And Me and Twelve Foot Ninja, and have featured at key European festivals including Brutal Assault (CZ), Arctangent (UK), Radar (UK) and Euroblast (DE).   With their musical craft truly unique and a live show unlike any other, The Omnific stands tall as the world’s most prominent bass driven instrumental rock act.
