Davis James

Davis James has garnered attention online for his wild stories, much of which are summed up in his new single Psycho Summer Camp Davis was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. His father, a classic rock radio DJ, brought good music into his life at a young age, and it became apparent early on that Davis could sing. In high school Davis started performing in choirs, musicals and as a solo artist, and his unique style began to take shape. This is also when he began writing songs. Sticking to his roots, Davis loves classic greats such as Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, and Jeff Beck. He cites John Mayer, Dave Matthews, and the Arctic Monkeys as role models for his guitar playing style. Davis received classical music training as an opera student at Indiana University's prestigious Jacobs School of Music. His eclectic and diverse background and experiences have certainly influenced Davis's musical style, which is best characterized as indie/pop rock.
