Energy Whores

Energy Whores is the avant-electro project of songwriter and artist Carrie Schoenfeld, blending electronic music, art rock, and cinematic storytelling into songs that explore the world we live in—and the one we’re creating. From climate change and artificial intelligence to identity, isolation, power, and human resilience, each release combines thought-provoking lyrics with immersive soundscapes, infectious hooks, and unexpected twists. Created in collaboration with producer Grant (NYC), whose background in underground electronic music helps shape Energy Whores’ evolving blend of cinematic electronics, driving rhythms, and emotional storytelling. The music asks difficult questions, but it also invites listeners to dance, think, laugh, and imagine something different.
