Controlled Test Environment

Floating between Alternative, Prog, Metal, Post-Hardcore, and Electronic, Controlled Test Environment brings heavy guitars, electronic elements, melodic vocals, and broad musical experimentation to their songs. The Brazilian band started in 2018 with Jorge Martins (G) and César Trajano (D), they felt the desire to make music their own way—and for that, they especially needed a vocalist. Júlio Castro (V) joined the band after a few months. In October 2019, the band released a cover version of the song " Army of Me" by Icelandic singer Björk. In March 2020, the band released " Time Decode", their first single. In May 2021, they released their second single, "Untouchables", which featured the brilliant participation of Victor Elias on bass! In March 2024, they released their third single," Kinetic", which had the talented production, mixing, and mastering of Cezar Tortorelli (Guitarist of Nerveless / Guitarist and Vocalist of Absens). The cover art for Untouchables, Kinetic, and Asynchronous was created by the artist and longtime friend of the band: Dieimes Pugens.
