Niclas Lundqvist

Niclas is a Stockholm-based organic ambient composer and producer with a lifelong passion for creating immersive sound worlds. Trained in classical piano from the age of seven, he blends that foundation with modern production to craft music that feels cinematic, emotional, and expansive. By day, Niclas scores music for film, television, advertising, and games — shaping sound to fit visual stories. Under his own name, he focuses on organic ambient and cinematic works, merging classical storytelling with contemporary electronic textures to create music that invites deep listening and reflection. Since 2021, he has also released under several aliases, exploring different aspects of sound and mood: LUNIQ., Velvet Slumber, and Sonic Passage. Across projects, his catalogue has surpassed 120 million streams, reaching listeners worldwide. Niclas’s music appears on labels including Signal Alchemy, Echoes Blue, Silent Sonic, Valley View, and Buddha Lounge, each release reflecting his ongoing search for atmosphere, emotion, and beauty within stillness.
