Chloé French

Chloé French makes the kind of music that feels best somewhere between 2AM and sunrise. Raised in Geneva and now based in New York, the disco-house artist pulls from the cinematic melancholy of French pop, the pulse of Berlin nightlife, and the effortless seduction of downtown dance floors. Before music, she was a nationally competitive figure skater — an origin story that makes sense once you see her perform. There’s precision in everything she does, but also drama, tension, release. Movement has always come naturally to her. The project moves between New York grit and Parisian sensuality, balancing minimalist house production with live instrumentation and diary-like lyricism. Onstage, her shows are designed to balance the dance floor haze with an undercurrent of real instruments. The NY Tapes is an invitation to a rich, vibrant, and incredibly chic musical world filled with movement, romance, and the truth of lived experience. Chloé nods to her roots and lineage by singing in English, French, and Portuguese (her father is French, her mother Brazilian). It’s an amalgamation and a journey unique to her, and she’s inviting the listener to experience it all, one shared moment at a time.
