Ms. Yumi

As one of the founding members of the legendary hip-hop group in the Philippines, the Repablikan Syndicate, Filipina Singer/Songwriter/Rapper Yumi Ortigas made her solo songs as well. 
 MS. YUMI is the main vocalist of the Repablikan Syndicate. The group started in year 2003 where she was only 16 years old that time. Started a boom on the year 2006 when Japanese Producer DJ-Bell and Andrew E collaborated to make TEAMSTAR PRODUCTION, a compilation album for various hip-hop artists, with Repablikan Syndicate in it, together with other Filipino Hip-hop groups Stick Figgas, Kruzzada, Crazy As Pinoy, Dice and K9, Jheggo, Aikee and many more.
 Repablikan Syndicate, is one of the well-known underground rap groups in the Philippines, with their songs “Kahit Di Na Tayo,” “Kanino Ba Dapat,” their cover of “First Love” by Utada Hikaru and “Kulang Na Kulang” by Joy and Bevs, they would surely take you back in time and would make you feel nostalgic whenever you hear them.
