Rafael Menéndez

Rafael Menéndez is a Salvadoran raised music producer and DJ now based in Montpellier, France, bringing Latin roots and energy into the European electronic scene. He has released music on labels such as Phobiq, Warner Music (Philippines), Onna Label (France), 7 Lives (France), BLOK Records (Poland), Melodic Bassment Records, and Spiration Music. Rafael began his musical journey at 7 with drums, started DJing at 13, and producing his own tracks at 14. Piano lessons at 15 expanded his harmonic understanding, giving him a foundation to craft dynamic, emotive, and technically polished productions. Since 2019, Rafael has been releasing music as “DJ Ram” and continues to collaborate with vocalists and producers worldwide, refining his sound and pushing the boundaries of electronic music. His focus is on creating music that moves people, tells a story, and connects diverse audiences. Fluent in French, Italian, and English, Rafael studies Music and Musicology at the University and Conservatory in Montpellier, constantly growing as an artist while building his path in Europe’s electronic scene.
