Tigerforest is the ambient and cinematic music project of German-born composer and producer Gunnar Spardel. Originally from Hamburg and now based in New England, Spardel creates atmospheric soundscapes that blend ambient, chillout and cinematic electronica. Inspired by coastlines, forests, memory, travel and the quiet beauty of everyday moments, his music invites listeners into immersive worlds filled with emotion, reflection and wonder. Over the years, Tigerforest has collaborated with artists including Shelley Harland, David Helpling, Joey Fehrenbach, Jody Quine, Eskadet, Der Waldläufer and Stefan Erbe. His music has been featured on SiriusXM Chill, international radio programs and ambient channels worldwide, reaching listeners across the globe. Beyond the studio, Spardel has performed live at renowned venues including Joe’s Pub in New York City, as well as appearances in Boston and New Orleans. In Germany, he has received multiple Schallwelle Awards and performed for enthusiastic audiences at some of the country's leading electronic music events.
