Growing up on the fringes of Atlanta, Zebulon soaked up the rhythms of the South as hip-hop culture swept him up during the MTV-fueled eighties and nineties. By high school, he was drumming and crafting his own tracks, and a move to Northern California introduced him to the pulse of the West Coast underground, including legends like Hieroglyphics. Blending his roots, a drummer’s intuition, and fresh influences, Zebulon forged a sound that is unmistakably his own. Now based in Los Angeles, Zebulon blends deft wordplay, sharp wit, and potent storytelling over soulfully steeped hip-hop production. He effortlessly weaves braggadocio, pop culture, and raw personal commentary with versatile flows that shape-shift to any production.
