Kuzu

Raffaele Zappavigna, aka Kuzu, is a producer born in 2003 and founder of the collective Pseudospettri. In 2020, he formed a launch pad for his own projects and for other musicians in the Italian underground scene. Through compilation releases, he distributes tracks in collaboration with artists such as Giumo, Tanca, Deriansky, Vipra (Sxrrwlxnd), and Pop X, following the latter on tour for his album Enter the Sandwich. In his musical career, Kuzu has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Fuera, Tripolare, BNKR 44, Okgiorgio, and many others. His productions range from electronic, whether digital or analog, to alternative indie and Midwest-Emo influences, with a strong focus on sampling—not limited to YouTube rip-offs, but rather field recordings of instruments, vinyl, cassettes, noise, factory gear, or anything he can get his hands on, manipulating the sound and textures, prioritizing outputs that stand out from the rest, while always maintaining a coherent, fluid, and innovative sound.
