Buttercats

Buttercats are a reminder that the Australian alternative indie scene is a broad and exciting place. With a nod to acts like Parcels and Jungle, they transcend the underground scene and hit above their weight in production and performance. As 2024 unfolds, the band is in full bloom, having already dropped four singles that have turned heads. Notably, landing them a spot on the cover of Spotify’s Front Left playlist and enjoying features on Fresh Finds and The Local List. Lead singer TJ's smooth, R&B-infused vocals provide a fresh take on alternative indie, complemented by expansive pop-soul arrangements that are sure to light up dancefloors of all sizes. With a steady stream of new music, Buttercats are destined to disarm and charm their growing audience for a long time to come, reminding us all that we are alive and born to dance.
