Biography & Metadata
Adina Curtaz (born April 28, 1998) is a singer-songwriter from a small town in the southwest of Germany. At an age of 9, she started recording acoustic covers and jam sessions with her mother's old camcorder. Although Adina never had singing lessons, she was soon asked to sing at municipal music school events and became part of a band founded by her e-guitar teacher who motivated her to take over lead vocals, backings and guitar chords and riffs. At an age of 13, Adina entered the municipal choir where she discovered her passion for polyphonic singing and was inspired to set up her own home recording studio in 2012. Apart from song covers Adina also enjoyed creating remixes and mash-ups. At an age of 14 she entered the school band where she stayed till 2016, one year after her graduation. Having started her psychology studies in Heidelberg in 2016, Adina founded an a-cappella group called "AcaDemics" with some fellow students, who performed regulary at dorm jam sessions. Around Christmas she wrote her first complete original song which was finally published in 2017 in the form of a music video on YouTube. With the start of her Master's Program in Mannheim, Adina felt the need to compensate the increased stress with music. Inspired by the producer duo Elevate that motivated her to try a hip-hop track, she started to write one song after another, open to any genre. So far Adina has already written Pop, Hardstyle, German/American Hip Hop, Electro-House and Indie songs.
