Emil Brandqvist is a Swedish composer and drummer. He has studied at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg and so far has also composed music for both feature film, short film and documentary for clients from Sweden, Denmark and Iceland ...Beside this work is a musician and work with two dedicated colleagues as Emil Brandqvist Trio – meanwhile 7 albums are released and the latest POEMS FOR TRAVELLERS reached #1 of German Jazz Charts. The trio is well received from media and audience in Sweden, Germany, Japan, UK, France, The Netherlands and Italy...more than 50 millions of streams in total so far... With the „Thee Songs“ series of compositions Emil Brandqvist has found a format allowing him to compose and play music apart from his extremely successful piano trio format using other instruments like guitar, xylophone, synthesizers or even voice . „Three Songs Part IV“ offers a typical quite but elegant song using clarinet and flugelhorn in „Laminariales“, and some interesting guitar additions in the lively „Sigge the farmdog“ while „With All My Love“ uses even two guitars to create new worlds in the Emil Brandqvist cosmos.
