Biography & Metadata

Over the past few years, Joe Yorke has been making waves within the reggaesphere and beyond, moving audiences with songs like “Quicksand” / “Midnight Rock” (Stand High Patrol), while igniting dancefloors with sound system anthems such as “Tonight” / “All Night Skanking” (The Co-operators) and “Night & Day” (Rhythm Steady). The release of his soulful 2023 album Hopeless introduced him to a wider audience. Captivating crowds with his extraordinary vocal style, Joe has performed on stages and sound systems around the world alongside artists including Stand High Patrol, L’Entourloop, O.B.F, Biga Ranx, Gentleman’s Dub Club, and more. Originally from the North of England and now based in Bristol, Joe is taking over the stages of Europe’s most prestigious festivals. From Les Transmusicales to Boomtown, via Rototom Sunsplash, Dour, Couleur Café, Sakifo and Reggae Geel, he captivates audiences with a sound that continues to evolve, drawing on elements of reggae, rocksteady, soul, dub, new wave and disco. His new album is set for release in autumn 2026—stay tuned!
