Jazim Sharma

Jazim Sharma is a young South Asian artist who has had an interesting journey to success. A finalist of Zee TV Saregamapa 2012, he made his mark as a versatile singer, and was honored with the title “Shehzada-ë-Ghazal”. His Bollywood debut was in the movie “Dedh Ishqiya ” with Bollywood Qawwali “Kya Hoga ” composed by Vishal Bhardwaj & penned by Gulzar Sahab. After releasing ghazal albums Pyaar Bepanah , Suno Tum, Inteha , Kahaan Aake Rukne The Raaste , Aish , Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai —Jazim decided to make original music filled rich poetry & melody. His Manmarziyaan (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) songs got everyone’s attention, especially Chonch Ladhiyaan and Grey Walaa Shade Composed by Amit Trivedi , Starring @Abhishek Bachchan, VICKY KAUSHAL❤, Tapsee Pannu Jazim topped this off by composing the biggest Indian anthem: Guzar Jayega feat. Amitabh Bachchan and 50 top singers of the industry! He collaborated with Shilpa Rao on Pritam Ji’s Indie-pop project Jamroom, with the beautiful romantic ballad Main Jee Raha . His compositions honor his traditional roots, as well as contemporary trends. Jazim is passionate about promoting serious music in a fresh way, especially the ghazal genre, so that the upcoming generation develops a love for both fusion and soulful music 🎹
