Ben Hobbs

South London singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Ben Hobbs hit the ground running with the release of his first two EPs, 2016’s Sweet Enough EP and 2018’s Blue Sky EP. His bedroom-spun pop harked back to the sounds of the 70s and 80s, with a fresh and contemporary production. Hobbs’ love of great pop acts past and present like Bowie, Peter Gabriel, The Police and The Weeknd shone through in his recordings, and media coverage duly followed from outlets like Billboard, USA Today, CLASH, The Line Of Best Fit, Hillydilly and BBC Introducing in London. His first four singles (Sweet Enough, Wishful Thinking, Cold Sweat and Animals) all landed on Spotify’s illustrious New Music Friday US playlist, which very much cemented his position as a modern streaming artist.
