VivaOla

VivaOla is a Tokyo-based contemporary R&B singer, songwriter, and producer whose icy, inimitable tenor glides over modern grooves, blending English and Japanese lyrics to create a sound both intimate and sophisticated. Gaining international attention through collaborations with Thomas Ng and Jimmy Brown, as well as performances at SXSW, Music Matters, and The Great Escape, he was named in Rolling Stone’s Future of Music 2024, marking him as a rising voice in Asia’s contemporary R&B scene. 東京を拠点に活動するR&Bシンガー、ソングライター、プロデューサー。 洗練された音像、英語と日本語を織り交ぜた歌詞、唯一無二の歌声でオーディエンスを魅了する。 2020年にリリースしたミニアルバム『STRANDED』は、J-WAVE TOKYO HOT100にてトップ10入りを果たす。 翌年にstarRo,YonYon,ZINなど多彩なゲストと共に制作しリリースした1stフルアルバム『Juliet is the moon』は、「ロミオとジュリエット」を題材にしたコンセプチュアルな作品で、ストリーミングサービスのR&B チャートで1位を獲得し大きな話題を呼んだ。 2024年には2ndフルアルバム『APORIE VIVANT』をリリース。 渋谷WWWX、大阪 yogibo HOLY MOUNTAINでリリースを記念した東阪ワンマンライブを開催し、大盛況に終わる。 同年Rolling Stoneの「Future of Music」日本代表25組へ選出。 アメリカ・SXSWを筆頭に、台湾やシンガポール、イギリスのThe Great Escapeなど海外の数々のフェスにも出演し、アジアを代表するアーティストとして注目され始めている。
