Jesediah

Born in NOLA, raised in Cuse and based in NYC Jesediah is a trap pop/hyperpop artist creating a vibrant sonic world to live in. Pop, R&B, dancehall and hyperpop mesh to create a sound that pulls you in. The trans artist began playing piano at age 3, guitar at age 7 and started producing & writing his own music at age 12. rAn ex-folk artist, Jesediah’s influences range from Mumford and Sons to Brakence making his search for uniqueness and pursuit of weirdness all the more genuine; and his refusal to play by the rules Just as vibrant on stage, he’s opened for Rina Sawayama and Tinashe among others, played SXSW, as well as many NYC venues including Irving Plaza & SOB’s along with multiple colleges in the northeast. With his longtime collaborator and friend Nik “Charger” Aji, Jesediah has designed a sound that is as recognizable as it is individual with the music catching the attention of artists & curators alike; nods from Ryan Cassata, Flannel Albert, Nick Pape & DOOV prove Jesediah to be just as versatile as he claims. As a trans man he aims to be visible without making his entire artistry about his identity. He has appeared on BET & “Discovered by Ebro,” with songs on MTV’s “Music To Blank To” & Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” among others. He has won ASCAP’s “Harold Adamson Lyric Award. ” (2022) and has been nominated for two Wavy Awards (2026) but he is just getting started. His debut album is set to release soon.
