Modern nostalgic Synthwave/dream pop music drenched in heartbreaking vocals, analogue synthesisers and ambient guitars for people who love endless summer nights with a Californian vibe, driving in the dark away from the city and that feeling of running away rushes with dreams of youth and desire. Debut album ‘All Of Those Nights’ came out in 2022 including single ‘Ride’. Remix album ‘FM’ followed in 2023 and included the viral hit ‘Fast Car’. 2024 included a period of collaborating with have artists such as Sunglasses Kid, I Am Boleyn, The Last Concorde, LAU & Cassetter amongst others. Album #2 ‘Love On The Edge Of Desire’ followed in 2025 - a love letter to late night driving in the dark with a soundtrack inspired by Americana-rock FM radio and 80s inspired from pop music. Following this 2026 with a number of collabs with Bunny X Luke Million and Heartbreak City With over 30m streams on music platforms, 30m video views on social media and radio support across BBC and New Retrowave - The Lightning Kids have ‘nostalgic-driven’ viral moments with their music.
