Biography & Metadata

Kelly Padrick is an American indie pop and folk singer, songwriter, and actress. Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, she began composing music at the age of five and got her start performing in coffee shops around Rhode Island and New England before relocating to New York City to advance her career. Padrick’s music has been widely featured in television promos, series, and films: Her track "Pizza and Fairytales" was featured in the Fox Searchlight film Trust the Man. Her songs "Ties That Bind" and "The Brooklyn Hours" were prominently featured in ABC’s promotional campaigns for Desperate Housewives. HBO’s VICE featured two of her songs, "Believing Makes it So" and "Consciousness". Padrick places a strong emphasis on visual storytelling. She has a long-running creative partnership with award-winning Canadian filmmaker Patricia Chica, who has directed all of her major music videos, including "Waiting For This," "Radiance," and "Heavenly Ride" (which received a silver award at the California Film Awards). Padrick's most recent EP, "Butterflies" (2026) was produced by Marc Copely. "Butterflies" is a nostalgic, emotionally vulnerable five-track project which leans into a country and folk-pop sound.
