GWOLOBO

Gwolobo started as a spontaneous song from ManitoNation, Kabysh, and KOLO, quickly evolving into a vibrant cultural phenomenon in Cap-Haïtien. It united artists like Paul Beaubrun, Titanbou, and Badio, growing into a band with a strong presence. Based in Haiti, Gwolobo gathers artists nationwide, from Cap-Haïtien, Port-au-Prince to Les Cayes, blending diverse influences into unique sounds. Gwolobo plays a fusion of Haitian roots, electronic beats, percussion, electric guitar, and soulful vocals, reinterpreting Haiti’s heritage with an evolving modern twist. More than a band, Gwolobo is also a community, a platform for artists to showcase talents and remind us that everything we need is within us, inherited from our ancestors.
