Lord Lhus

Lord Lhus is an independent underground hip-hop and country-rap artist who has been active since 1998. Over more than two decades he has built a catalog of group projects and solo work while maintaining complete creative control of his music and visuals. He first gained notice through multiple group albums with Bloodline and the European production collective Snowgoons. In 2009 he embarked on a European tour. In recent years he expanded into country rap, releasing the 2024 album American Folk Rap. Last year, French producer Al’tarba had a disagreement with him and deleted their biggest album, “Acid and Vicious,” which dramatically dropped his following on Spotify and Apple Music. In 2026 he issued the underground project Under the Ground. A full new country-rap album is scheduled for release this year. Lhus records everything in his own home studio and edits his own videos. Nearly all of his social-media accounts—Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, Tinder, and others—have been deleted or permanently banned over the years, making him one of the most censored artists in the hip-hop scene. Google Ads have also been blocked. As a result, paid Facebook advertising remains one of the few remaining channels he can use to reach listeners. Working entirely independently, Lord Lhus continues to release music on his own terms, moving between raw underground hip-hop and country-rap while operating outside mainstream promotional systems.
