Biography & Metadata
Pittsburgh-raised and NYC-tempered, georgiaxx makes music at the intersection of feelings and late-night grit. After moving to New York in 2016 to study at NYU and The New School, she ditched the traditional path to find her voice traveling bicoastally to write and do sessions Her sound is built on a dual nature: the emotional vulnerability of a songwriter clashing against the unapologetic energy. It’s what she calls the "optimistic sad song”-high voltage anthems that make you want to dance through the wreckage. Her single, Love to Borrow (with Lucas Larvenz) is a high-energy fusion of shimmering synths and driving basslines: the sound of falling into something you weren't meant to keep. Since her 2019 debut, she’s been stacking momentum with a series of heavy-hitting collaborations and solo releases alike. Known for her genre-fluid approach and emotionally charged vocal style, she’s been gaining traction with a standout Art Basel performance at M2, a Factory 93 release under Insomniac, along with growing radio support.
