The Ransom Brothers

Austin, Texas has never been short of artists willing to blur the lines between country, rock and Americana, and The Ransom Brothers arrive with a sound that feels firmly rooted in that tradition while determined to push it somewhere new. Fronted by Sean McHargue and Daniel Solis, Cole Beddingfield on bass and Aaron English on drums, the band have built their reputation the old-fashioned way, progressing from local honky-tonks to support slots with Whiskey Myers, Drake White, Chase Rice, Band of Heathens and Southall, while steadily cultivating a following across Texas and beyond. Their music draws on personal experience and everyday life, marrying outlaw-country grit with blues-driven rock, layered instrumentation, powerful harmonies and the kind of high-energy performance that can work just as effectively in an intimate room as it can on a festival stage.
