RamonPang

RamonPang, is a Filipino-American producer and DJ based in Los Angeles, whose work feels a part of an IDM, electro and ambient continuum—but refuses easy categorization, because of its studied premise. His sound contains sparkling tension: glitchy breakbeats meet harps and lush textures—DX7 presets, harps, romplers, meditation samples—revitalized through juxtaposition, as showcased in his EP The Answer Breaks. His live sets are electric, with Resident Advisor describing his mixing as "cosmic fireworks over heavy low-end and lightning-fast breaks, as if the space-time continuum is being rearranged." In 2021, RamonPang won Baauer's beat battles (A-Trak, Mura Masa as judges). In 2025, his music closed Dekmantel's main stage by way of Four Tet - a lifelong influence who would go on to release his music on his label. In 2026, he toured Japan as direct support for Ninajirachi - a peer and friend. His three LPs and shortform video work have earned him widespread praise from tastemakers like Anthony Fantano, alongside outlets like Resident Advisor, Rolling Stone, Forbes and more. Beyond his own work, RamonPang's short-form video presence has become unavoidable, with his content exploring electronic music history and community amassing over 10 million views. He is currently co-founder of Tabula Rasa Records with Jozef White, operating a hub for releases and live showcases, championing artists like Kelbin, data.cluster, and canary yellow.
