Pierce Masheck - aka - Lil Dew’ - from a small town in Indiana has been making and releasing music from his home studio for just over 2 years. At his peak he has amassed over 415,000 monthly listeners - reached 184 countries - and has achieved over 30 million streams. This bright new talent isn’t afraid of coming out of his comfort zone when it comes to making music. As he started off his career making music in the “aesthetic rap” genre. He has since completely changed directions and is stepping foot into every genre he can think of. His first project a EP titled “Misery Makes Memories” was the turning point of his sound. Songs like “Over Me” and “Unwritten Voids” show his experimental take on rage influenced music. The layered melodic hooks give the tracks a cinematic feel. This is paired with fast satisfying verses and sudden changes in flows, mixing and beats that leave the listener engaged and never knowing just what will happen next. Along with these, songs such as “Real Me” and “Studio Days” are a complete change up both musically and lyrically. “Real Me” give insight on how a broken relationship has effected him and coping with it in ways he knows are wrong but continues to do. Following up this track “Studio Days” shows his day to day life, recording music no matter what he feels like pouring all his emotions into his music.
