Hello from Jay K, and hope u r having a rollicking day!!! Originally from India (born & raised), I have been based in the USA for close to three decades, and currently live in Austin, TX. While I have a full time job as an executive leader (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jaykrishnamurthy2011), MUSIC has been a lifelong passion. I grew up listening to Hindi, Tamil film music, with exposure to world music, rock, pop, hip hop, etc. So the music I create now is a fusion of Indian and Western sensibilities. Dam Doom Daiyya is one of the first songs I am presenting in collaboration with @Lyca Music; a peppy and massy, multi-lingual (Hindi, Tamil, English) dad-daughter Indie song-story sung by myself and my daughter @Shriya. The song unfolds the story of a dad who feels his heart skip as his little girl is now a young female out in the world. He asserts his presence, quite literally and pops up everywhere, letting others know he still has his watchful eye on her.
