The charming singer’s voice fills the room and goes straight to the listener’s heart. “HEEN” stands for captivating songs with catchy hooks, sometimes humorous, sometimes profound. With emotionally sung melodies, pounding laid-back grooves and a sprinkling of cool rap, HEEN delights the audience with that feeling of experiencing something unique. The debut album “Steppin' Up” shows us the soul that moves him and us. The title refers to reaching the next level, the logical consequence of an eventful year with over 100 appearances, including supports for Flo Mega and Max Herre or as a featured guest of the Heavytones. Sophisticated songs and beautiful horn arrangements decorate HEEN's music and give the necessary polish to a sound recorded in the Maarweg studios in Cologne with producer Jan Niemeyer and a carefully put together band. It is indeed “Steppin’ Up”!
