Biography & Metadata

Stract (Seeking To Reveal And Choose Truth) is a Filipino-American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer from Los Angeles whose music lives in the in-between—where raw emotion meets meticulous craftsmanship. He emerged in 2018 with “Tell Me Why I'm Waiting,” a viral collaboration with Shiloh Dynasty that set the tone for his lo-fi, soul-tinted sound. In 2019, he released Distractions, a debut that blended dusty textures, sample flips, and spoken reflections into something raw and personal. Later that year, “Losing Interest”—another Shiloh Dynasty collaboration—caught fire online, widening his audience and leading to a deal with CORBAL Records. From 2020 to 2023, he sharpened his voice through tracks like “More Than Words” featuring Mishaal Tamer, “IMY” with Jason Trinidad, and “just a memory” with Chyde, featuring michaelathebanana. His sound began to shift—warmer, more melodic—culminating in 2022’s “Sum Bout U” with Crzma, a longtime friend who helped shape the sound and spirit of his LOVESTRUCK era. In 2023, he reunited with Shiloh Dynasty for “4 My Girl,” his final release under CORBAL Records. Now fully independent, Stract leads Prosperous Music Group alongside his longtime friends and collaborators Crzma and Travie G. His first single under PMG, “TAKE U DOWN”—a collaboration with Crzma featuring Russell Groovy—marks the start of a new era, anchored in truth, ownership, and timeless sound.
