Biography & Metadata

Dancer, choreographer, teacher, musician, rapper, and composer. London born Ben has been making music his whole life. At 62 years old his creations are an eclectic mix of genres focusing heavily on Drum and Bass without the use of AI. He takes pride in not taking himself too seriously. Junglist Review Of Jungle Teacher by Bcrafty. The artist Bcrafty, also known as Ben Craft, hails from Arnhem in the Netherlands, a country that is fast becoming a major pool of talent in the D&B and Jungle genres. BCrafty is somewhat of a musical veteran, and has taken to creating everything from dark and dangerous D&B to a classic Dubby / Jungle sounds. His back catalogue can be found on SoundCloud. There you will find an absolute monster, in All My Nightly Dreams, which weights in heavy with some beautiful piano and some classic 70’s Batman samples. Then onto Jungle teacher, which uses some more classic samples, this time from King Tubby in a track called 95 North Dub. In Bcrafty’s creation we are entertained with some quality King Tubby based Dub lyrics and rhythms. Then we come to the latest release with is out on the 7th November on Bass Boost. Dark Beauty is a moody slice of jump up goodness. Techy and dangerous, we are treated to a some punchy synths and some warpy bass, which will go down well in the nastiest of sets all over Europe!!
