Somo

Hey, I’m Somo. Indie Dance Music DJ (IDM), Music Producer, Singer-Songwriter. I am a fully independent musician. You might have seen me play at clubs in and around Delhi. I make music that blends intimate songwriting with the energy of the dancefloor — rooted in Hindi indie, shaped by global sounds. Every track I release carries a piece of me — stories I’ve lived, felt, or imagined, wrapped in synths, grooves, and emotion. You can catch me perform high energy sets filled with original hindi indie dance music at Indie Dance Music Experience (IDME) held in every 4 month. Expect a lot of nostalgic songs with dance beats. Outside the studio, I spend a lot of time reworking songs that shaped us — flipping them into edits that make people move, think, or feel something new. You might’ve come across a few on your feed — moments from my sets, spontaneous ideas, little experiments. It all lives together — the music, the edits, the reels — as part of one bigger story I’m still writing. If you’ve ever found yourself dancing through overthinking, or healing through headphones, I hope something here finds you too.
