Walle Wahlsten

I’m Walle, a singer from Åland, born and raised in Mariehamn. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and music has always been a big part of my life. I got to share my music with a bigger audience through The Voice of Finland in 2021, where I made it to the live quarterfinals. Since then, I’ve had the chance to be part of many different productions and concerts around Åland, from Queen and Elvis to The Beatles and the Spirit of the 70s, 80s and 90s. After all those years of singing other people’s songs, it finally felt like the right time to start making my own. I’m still figuring out exactly where this journey will take me, but I’m having a lot of fun doing it. I like music with soul, a good groove and a bit of edge, and I’m not too interested in putting myself in one box. So this is me finally giving my own music a shot. Better late than never.
