Biography & Metadata
Zoé Hammer drifts between reality and reverie, building worlds where sound, story, and image intertwine. With Brazilian and Swiss roots, having grown up partly in the UK and a background in acting and musical theatre, Zoé treats each song as a scene, each lyric, a fragment of a larger dream. Every release is a visual as much as a sound, surreal landscapes, symbolic characters, and narratives that linger like half-remembered dreams. The album Liquid Dreams marks Zoé's debut at 17 years old. Creating an album for a school project in a fantasy realm, recorded in a closet with a blanket draped on top, which was the closest Zoé could get access to a studio at the time. The album Birdlike, set to be released in 2026, marks the professional music debut. Zoé is returning from the same fantasy realm to tell the stories captured along the way with more harmonies and access to professional equipment. The album crafted in London, is a constellation of 7 songs and an interlude, orbiting around themes of identity, transformation, and longing. Accompanied by four meticulously crafted music videos together with a creative team of Zoé's friends, it invites listeners into a universe where boundaries dissolve and imagination reigns. For Zoé, music is a place you can inhabit and a feeling that never quite leaves.
