ilyMoxyy

Moxy, also known as ilymoxyy, is a versatile, multi-genre artist who’s been developing his own sound while taking inspiration from the artists and scenes around him. he’s still discovering what his sound truly is, experimenting with different genres, styles, and ways of expressing himself through music. A lot of my music comes from real experiences and emotions that I feel like other people can relate to. I’ve always wanted my songs to feel personal, but at the same time, I want somebody else listening to them to be able to say, “Yeah, I’ve felt that before.” I originally started making music around 2021, mostly independently. Before I knew about distribution services, I was uploading my music through SoundCloud, which was one of the first places where I really started putting myself out there. Eventually, I discovered DistroKid, and that opened the door for me to get my music onto platforms like Spotify and YouTube, along with other major streaming services. When it comes to inspiration, I pull from a lot of different artists and sounds. Some of the artists that have influenced the direction I’m going in include Slayr, Supxr, Angst, Odetari, Bunii, and plenty of others. I don't really want to limit myself to one genre or one sound. I’d rather keep experimenting and let the music naturally become its own thing.
