Born in Ladysmith in 2001 and raised on melodies, DJ Lusoul is a producer and DJ whose journey from engineering to music is as deep as the chords he plays. Inspired by his time playing piano in church, Lusoul discovered a natural ability to bring emotion to sound—layering soulful progressions, Kwaito grooves, and jazz textures into the evolving Amapiano sound. His music isn’t just beats—it’s feeling, storytelling, and a spiritual experience. Versatile by nature, he blends influences from Kelvin Momo, Kabza De Small, and Deeper Phill with his own unique touch. Recently featured on 9 tracks from Deeper Phill’s 2024 album, Lusoul is making his mark in the new wave of musical innovators. Currently working on his debut album Ikhwezi—named after his daughter and symbolizing "tomorrow’s bright morning star"—Lusoul’s journey is just beginning. Expect warmth. Expect depth. Expect soul.
