Biography & Metadata

Las Vegas-raised Javlin (JAY-vlin) is a Filipino/Chinese-American artist working between LA and the Bay Area, shaping a genre-blurred sound that pulls from hip hop, R&B, and pop. His music is melodic, honest, and rooted in everywhere he’s called home. His rise has unfolded across California since 2019, with performances in Berkeley, LA, Riverside, and Orange County. His music has reached audiences at Coachella, Sabaidee Fest, and LA’s K-Town Night Market. Throughout the pandemic, he stayed active through charity livestream festivals alongside OG YouTube artists while building an online following through collaborations, covers, and remixes across YouTube and TikTok. Since his 2021 debut project “Homecoming,” Javlin has continued expanding his world through cinematic visuals and collaborations with artists including Concepcion, Dane Amar, Nico Blitz, Chow Mane, Kusta, Sawhee, Deuce B, and Dale Keano. Now, five years in the making, Javlin enters his biggest chapter yet with his sophomore album “OVERTIME,” released 9/25. Built around the life that happens between the 9-to-5 and everything pursued after hours, the album explores ambition, burnout, relationships, balance, and the sacrifices that come with chasing something bigger. Sometimes, you just have to chase the dream after you clock out. youtube.com/xjavlin tiktok.com/@xjavlin
