Biography & Metadata

Chet Lawrence is a Nashville-based country artist whose sound blends traditional country, outlaw country, Southern rock, and blues. Driven by the belief that music begins with a feeling, Chet brings that conviction to every performance through his powerful baritone voice, soulful delivery, and raw, honest storytelling. In 2017, Chet made the full-time move to Tennessee and began pursuing music with purpose. He was soon recognized by the Nashville Songwriters Association International as “One to Watch,” and has since built a reputation as a compelling live performer. Today, Chet can be found performing regularly on Lower Broadway in Nashville, playing surrounding venues, connecting with fans through live streams, and receiving airplay on local radio stations across the country. When he is not performing, Chet enjoys the outdoors — from ripping through miles of old logging trails in his turbocharged side-by-side to sport fishing in the blue waters off the coast of Florida. Artist Statement “Music, to me, is about expressing feeling and creating connection. Whether it’s fast, slow, modern, traditional, loud, or stripped down, the goal is always the same — to move people. Every time I step on stage, I want the audience to feel something.”
