Ramadel, named Abayomi Salami was born in March 2nd 1999 Lagos Nigeria. He’s a Nigerian singer, songwriter who grew up in mushin. He started singing at the age of 16 in his school “Santa Maria college”. Also known as ramabahbii, he’s seen as an extraordinary artist poised to transform the music industry with his innovative sound, diverse talent and unwavering commitment to his craft. He’s also regarded to as the pioneer of the “Afro trench sound” blending Afrobeats, soulful Melodies and trap music to create a genre that resonates globally also inspiring emerging artists like bhadboi oml and scophield. In 2018, he released a cover to a song called “barkin ramz ft burna boy”. The cover was titled “oja” featuring abidat and it gained significant attention across the country. He has since then dropped so many other songs like “bless my way” isimiyaki” “look your front”. In 2020, he got viral traction with his smash hit “Talks to God”. Ramadel has since then cemented a name for himself in the industry. He dropped his first E.P “Akala Jay Z” in december 2023 which has amassed over a million streams on all platforms. He’s been co-signed by notable artists like oxlade and also music video director naya effects. With his unique sound, he’s seen to be on a pace to take over the African music scene globally with more authenticity.
