according to critics, César Lacerda is "one of the most interesting artists that emerged in the 2010s". the categorical statement is based on facts: in the last decade, since the release of his first album, “Porquê da Voz” (2013), César has been collecting hits. as a composer he is present in more than 70 albums, performed by huge Brazilian artists such as Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Marina Sena, Zezé Motta, Lenine and Maria Gadú. he has musical partnerships with lyricists of great expression such as Ronaldo Bastos (one of the founders of the anthological Clube da Esquina), Jorge Mautner (one of the artists who orbited Tropicália) and Romulo Fróes (exponent of the new Brazilian avant-garde and artistic director of artists such as Elza Soares and Jards Macalé).
