Biography & Metadata

Chris Scott is a 26 year old composer and producer based in Minnesota who has been creating original music since 2012. He began his primary project, Inexedra, on SoundCloud in 2014; a cerebral cyberpunk-inspired project that pays homage to the sound of 90s industrial-pop, synth-rock, and even grunge. with a unique emphasis on groove and experimentation. Starting as a Synthwave artist, Inexedra has released two successful albums since 2018 with many viral singles, remixes, and features in between. Notably, he’s worked alongside independent songwriting-powerhouse Klayton/Celldweller, appearing on his discography in multiple places as a guest artist. Since Inexedra's advent, he's grown a loyal following all over the world, primarily in the US, Russia, and all across Europe. In addition to his ever-growing discography of studio-written electronic music, Chris Scott is also a classically trained instrumentalist and vocalist with an advanced education in traditional composition and performance. Having composed for mixed choir, string quartet, piano, woodwinds, and more, Chris Scott's passion for songwriting transcends the boundaries of genre and serves as the perfect mechanism for Inexedra's envelope-pushing quality, culminating in soundscapes and noise-bending that have never been heard before.
