The Paul Porter Experience

The music of The Paul Porter Experience blends the quiet pulse of Chicago with warm, understated guitar jazz. Drawing on the city’s South Side jazz tradition, soft electric guitar tones, subtle rhythm sections and spacious arrangements create a sound that feels intimate, reflective and effortlessly elegant. Brick walls, elevated tracks, dimly lit back rooms and late coffee on Wells Street shape the atmosphere, while restrained grooves and mellow harmonies evoke the quieter side of the city — from long evenings indoors to snow beginning to fall between the buildings.
