Kian Pourtorab

Kian Pourtorab entered the world of music by playing guitar at the age of 16. After becoming a more proficient musician, he decided to pursue a full time career in the world of music. As a composer and lyricist, he was one of the founding members of the alternative rock band Comment in 2007. They went on to release three albums together: Miram Balater (Going Higher), Dayereha (Circles) and Rafte Az Dast (Lost) supported by a lot of successful concerts over the years. Their final LP brought the band the album of the year prize from Ma Music Festival and also the best song award from the Academia Festival in the US for the song “Bidaarie Ma” (“Us Being Awake”). After his success with Comment band, in 2015, Pourtorab officially started to work as a solo artist in the genre of electronic music. His apetite for electronic music has opened a whole new musical world for him and his fans.
