Aino Elina

Lapland-born, Edinburgh-based Finnish singer-songwriter. Intriguingly, Aino Elina sings in both her native Finnish and in English, combining ethereal vocals, hazy harmonies and beats to create soaring, luminous pop music. Three out of the four songs on Kite, her debut LP (side 1) , made it on BBC Radio Scotland. Her past singles have also gained plays on Spotify editorial playlists and national radio play in Finland. She's performed live locally around Edinburgh since the release of her debut EP, Unissa, in 2018. Her live shows have taken her to headline and support gigs, small festivals and international showcases. Aino Elina wrote her first songs aged 6. "I write songs in my dreams.
