Anthony Messini

Anthony Messini is a classically trained guitarist (LTCL) who gave up playing for 25 years and only picked the guitar back up in the middle of a COVID lockdown. His music is hard to describe: purely instrumental, it’s a hybrid drawing on elements of classical, jazz, popular, folk, and world music. The instrumentation typically features a combination of different guitars and bass, with a focus on the interplay between the instruments. He has released three albums, three EPs, and numerous singles since 2023, gradually building a following for his music. He releases relaxing guitar music through the Florecilla and Soothe Sounds record labels and has collaborated with Giannis Venizelos, Thomas Rydell, Lucas Bakker, Javi de la Torre and Dominik Rueegg on various tracks.
