Social Hazard

Social Hazard is a rock band formed in 2003 in Arlington, Texas. Once a live post-grunge band, it now primarily operates as a collaborative studio project spearheaded by founding frontman Blake Kincaid. The music spans a wide spectrum—moving from heavy alternative metal and acid rock to pop rock, to folk and acoustic elements. Built on real and sometimes exotic instrumentation with dynamic arrangements, the songs balance aggressive distortion with quiet, intimate moments. Themes: Societal and political disillusionment, emotional struggle, loss, the search for identity and meaning, and the mysterious and unknown. Mood: Reflective and angsty, with occasional muse for those who catch the hidden meanings.
