Biography & Metadata

Miles Taylour, is a native of Tivoli NY. He began playing guitar at 11 in Red Hook with the great, Steve Gravino and is influenced by blues, folk, rock and jazz. Many of his songs weave together strange life experiences into stories of redemption and other things. He released 3 jazz inspired songs a while ago such as To Get By, which was followed up by his 2024 album dreaming: a blend of folk, country and grunge elements. His single The Last Boat to Aberdeen was inspired by gothic romances and silent film imagery. In 2025 he released his earliest recordings from his high school years archives 04-08 as well as a re-release of his first solo record, The Zak & Miles Recordings. He also plays a key role in the alternative rock group Off Road Minivan , on Tooth & Nail Records. Miles now, once again lives in Tivoli. Miles’ latest endeavor, Dutchess is a collaborative effort with Max Liebman and Thomas Wandell. Together they’ve taken Miles’ next batch of original work into exciting new territories. Their debut, self-titled album is the culmination of over two years of writing, recording, and experimenting.
